### How to calculate Laplacian of a function?

During post process, I have to calculate the Laplacian of solution, which is a scalar and denoted as $u$. I found no direct method to do that.

I am also wondering what the result would be when I use Lagrange P1 or P2 elements.

div(grad(u))​
