Hello all,

Normally I use
%matplotlib inline
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt

There is another fenics-matplotlib command

%run /home/fenics/fenics-matplotlib.py

But it gives error in Jupyter as "ERROR:root:File `'/home/fenics/fenics-matplotlib.py'` not found.". How can I use it in Jupyter and what are the main differences between fenics-matplotlib and matplotlib ?

Ok I fixed it by using https://bitbucket.org/jackhale/fenics-jupyter/overview

The instructions and the file could be found here, https://bitbucket.org/jackhale/fenics-jupyter/src
But the repository seems old, could be outdated. But I think these methods in fenics-matplotlib.py are already implemented into dolfin (2017.1.0 at least). They just utilize the matplotlib plotting for special instances of dolfin's Function.
