Good morning, My son owns a kindle fire.  I just installed Funamo.  I clicked on 'block other browsers' within Funamo settings.  This works until I reboot the Kindle Fire, then I can access Silk Browser again until I stop/restart Funamo. Did I miss something?  Thank you.

Possibly silk browser not recognized as a browser, try blocking it in the protected apps..?

Thank you for your response Merle.  Which protected apps might you be referring to?

Protected apps, in the settings, block youtube, google movies  etc. I don't have a device setup right now, but I would expect all 3rd party apps to be listed in the Protected apps list to choose which you want blocked or not

The only function I hope to avail myself with is blocking pornography.  In order to do this on my boy's Kindle Fire I must somehow disable Silk Browser, either through Funamo blocking or by de-installing it.  I just purchased the license after the trial period and continue to be able to access Silk Browser after rebooting the machine.  I have Internet Filtering enabled and under Account Settings I have 'block other browsers' checked.  Please help.  Is it possible to de-install Silk Browser?  I started googling it and haven't come up with an answer yet.

I will add that, as Merle suggested, I checked off 'Silk Browser' in the protected apps section

Might there be a way to hide the Silk Browser Icon from the main menu page?

If you put Silk browser in the protected app list as Marie suggested, it should be blocked by Funamo.
