App Time allowance not working

Hello ~ i'm testing the App Time Allowance but it's not working.  I set a Time Allowance for the Funamo web browser application to 2 minutes (00:02) for Monday (today), but it's not working.  I confirmed Funamo is on.

Any suggestions?

I think I'm getting closer.  It looks like I have to install Funamo and Funamo browser directly on our daughter's profile and that that profile cannot be a Restricted User Profile?  Would you confirm this please?  I think this may be where the issue is.

We have 3 profiles on our android tablet, running lollipop 5.1.1.  Here's what I see:

Owner: Not restricted profile. This is where the app/browser were installed.  I can see and use Funamo app and Funamo Browser and the time limits work.

Spouse: Not restricted profile. I cannot see either Funamo or the Funamo Browser.

Child: Restricted profile. I can see and use the Funamo Browser, but the time limits don't work, as if the app is not installed.  I can see the Funamo app icon, but when clicked, it opens to blank green Funamo screen with nothing on it.

- Can you share Funamo and Funamo browser between user profiles on lollipop 5.1.1?

- Do I need to delete the Restricted Profile, create a new non-restricted profile, and install Funamo and Funamo Browser directly on that profile?

Thanks!

It doesn't work on different profiles currently. The only way I've been able to make it work is this:

1. In the owner profile, enable access to Funamo in the restricted profile settings

2. Uninstall Funamo from the device

3. Reboot the device

4. Re-Install Funamo (but don't open it/log in yet)

5. Go to the restricted profile

6. Open Funamo and login.

This should now work on that one 'Restricted Profile' only. It will not work on any other profiles until Funamo fixes it. You can then password protect the 'Owner' profile. If logged in as the 'Owner' though there is always the problem that you can just hit 'Guest' and again you will have access to a new user profile that does not have Funamo working...

Thank you, Ryan!!  Much obliged ~

Most welcome. Problem is though it's now only good for kids. No good for adults if you need to use a device for work for example...

Are you confused between time allowance and time limited app? Time allowance does not allow you to set allowance for specific day of week. You can only set for weekdays and weekends.

No; i understand the difference.  I think what's happening has something to do with the use of a restricted user profile.  I'm using my gmail account as the tablet Owner with our daughter as a restricted profile.  I just realized that the time restriction is working on the Owner profile, but not on our daughter's profile.  Funamo and Funamo Browser are on her profile but when I open Funamo from her profile, I get a blank green screen.  Do I have to reset all of the Funamo settings on each profile? thank you.

I don't see the message "Funamo protection is on" when I open our daughter's profile.

Can you not use a Restricted User Profile with Funamo?
