Form recompiling with mesh changes

Hello,

I want to run an example with different meshes with a same variational form using the python interface.  I was expecting that variational form do not recompilation if a mesh is updated (like demos in C++ interface). However, the code execution time explodes becasue of need for the recompilation every time when a mesh changes.

I am wondering what the reason is that ffc tries to recompile linear and bilinear a mesh changes in python interface. Is there any compiler option to turn it off?

Yours,
Nick

This is not definitely intended behaviour. Normally forms do not recompile. You're probably hitting some corner case although I can't rule out a bug because without minimal working example it is impossible.
