Deleting/Moving Files (sorted)

I feel that I am missing something !
I am using the project manager to develop a small app and on occasions I have created variations of files to test out options. I then wish either to delete the file completely or move it to an 'archive' area that can be cleared later. Obviously I can do this using a file manager but it would be nice to be able to do it from the project tab where I can create or rename. Deleting/Excluding from the project is OK but leaves files  'lying around'.

I suspect that this can be done quite easily but I can't see how !

Thanks - staring me in the face!
One I'd sorted out where 'Trash' is (for me ~/.trash) I can then save anything I want to.

Yes, even on Windows where it's called Delete (because that's what Windows file explorer calls it) it moves to trash.  On Linux the trash implementations vary but Wing tries to use the right one or a fall-back if it can't find one.

Remove/Exclude just omits it from the project.  There's another item Move to Trash (or Delete on windows) that actually deletes the file on disk.  That also runs the relevant version control command if there is a version control system active (for example 'hg remove <filename>').
