Dear all,

I test a benchmark, namely poisson problem, but i get error reports:

~/my-project$python demo_poisson.py Solving linear variational problem. *** Warning: Degree of exact solution may be inadequate for accurate result in errornorm. error_L2 = 0.00823509807335 error_max = 1.33226762955e-15 Traceback (most recent call last): File "demo_poisson.py", line 60, in <module> interactive() NameError: name 'interactive' is not defined Aborted (core dumped) How can I solve this problem? Best Yaakov Community: FEniCS Project The demo file probably comes from different FEniCS version than you've installed. written 3 months ago by Jan Blechta thanks for your answer! would you tell (send) me whch benchmark shall I test as I get the same bug "Aborted (core dumped)" from many .py benchmark inputs. written 3 months ago by EQWEQ how can you know that "NameError: name 'interactive' is not defined" means other version of fenics??? written 3 months ago by EQWEQ 1 The plotting interface has changed (and many other things of course). In current versions, matplotlib is used for plotting and the interactive() does not exist. The set of demos matching your FEniCS version should be distributed with the installation. For example, if you used the Ubuntu repository, you find them in the folder /usr/share/dolfin/demo, with Docker, it's$HOME/demo.
You can also look here: https://bitbucket.org/fenics-project/dolfin/src/master/demo/
Instead of the branch Master, select the tag that matches your FEniCS version.
