Device admin protect not working

Athough I checked both device admin and device admin protect, I did not get a screen lock when I tested it. I was able to deactivate funamo as admin and then uninstall. I could always block settings but I would rather use the protect feature. I did find the apps with usage access protected.

Please make sure that Funamo protection is turned on when you deactivate device admin. The screen will lock and funamo1234 screen lock will be set.

Of course I had Funamo turned on. Sometimes the check box under device administrators goes grey but the screen is not locked and eventually it disables. I dont actually uninstall but the uninstall button is accessible.I suppose the only thing to try is uninstall and reinstall, but I have invested a lot of time already and everything else is working. No one else is having this problem, motorola moto, android v. 5?

Not sure why it is not working for you. We have not heard any other customers having issue with Protect device admin feature.

Did you actually tried to uninstall? If device admin is activated, you will not be able to do it.

I simply go to setting/security/device admin and turn off or "deactivate" funamo admin permission. Then I back out. The screen does not lock. I csn go right to. Apps and Funamo and the uninstall button is not grayed out. I have not carried out the uninstall.

I did uninstall no problem with device admin protect on and funamo on. I uninstalled and reinstalled a few times actually, hoping it would kick in. Its astounding to me I am the only one it wont work for.
