Create a community

A community is a group of people who share a common interest. A community on AllAnswered.com can be

• an organization, school class, club or group
• a product or service, such as ABC gadget, XYZ software
• a subject, such as Ninth grade math, Calculus, Java programming

Avoid communities that are too broad, such as Food, Software, Math.

Join a community

If you join a community, you will get an email notification whenever a question for that community is posted.

Community name format

• Community name is case-insensitive, so Abc is the same as abc
• Community name allows space, '-' and '_'
• Avoid special characters or punctuations

Receive private emails

The community admin can make his/her email public to receive private emails from other users in the community. A private email is directly sent through email server and is not saved in our system.

This feature is mainly designed for community leader or organization support staff to receive direct emails from other users who do not want to use the public board for specific issues.

How to invite

• Add an email address and click Add to add a new contact.
• Start typing email and choose the one that you have already imported or added before.
• Import contacts from a CSV file. Download a template and fill in emails.
• Click Show Contacts button to show all contacts that you already imported or added before.
